The Conjunto 23 Photo Album

In front of Arsenio Rodriguez' old place, "El 23," 23 W. 56th St., NYC.

On stage at the Kimmel Center's 2006 Summer Solstice Celebration. Conjunto 23's swinging sound with singer Angel 'Cuco' Palacios shifted the otherwise dreary 2am crowd into high gear!

On a sunny afternoon in June of 2006, Conjunto 23 brought the party to Bardascino Park, in South Philly. With original members Dave Garlitz and Robin Moore back in town, the group played as a septet, and rocked the barrio!

Expanded to a sextet with tresero Jared Alvarez, Orlando Fiol on congas, and trumpeter Tim Thompson, Conjunto 23 swings into the night at Mokas' Restaurant in West Philly, January 2006.

People get down and funky to the sounds of the Conjunto 23 sextet.

Conjunto 23 was the house band at pianist Elio Villafranca's wedding in Summer 2005. As expected, the roof was on fire, ignited with the help of Elio himself!

Conjunto 23 brought the crowd to its feet at Bethlehem Musikfest, Summer 2005.

As the sunset, crowds at the Bethlehem Musikfest begged for more! Of course, Conjunto 23 delivered...

On a road trip down south in early 2005, Conjunto played a dance for the University of North Carolina Latin American Students' Association.

In the words of the great Pupy Pedroso: "If you can't dance to this, you can't dance to nothin'!" The folks at UNC definitely agreed...

The National Humanities Center, in Raleigh, North Carolina, kindly offered Conjunto 23 the chance to come down and shake things up a bit with the fellows. And shake it they did!

Tearing the roof off of the International House on the Upper West Side, January 2004. The band's first ever gig in the Big Apple!

Where it all started: the band in their first year, cobbling together a set's worth of material in practice rooms at Esther Boyer School of Music, Temple University.
